The Bay Area Theological Library was founded in 2001 with the goal of establishing a regional theology library and center for biblical study in the mid-Peninsula (Silicon Valley) region of the San Francisco Bay Area. In pursuing this goal, we have three primary aims:
  • To promote biblical literacy
  • To preserve recorded theological thought and discourse
  • To provide a unique collection of resources available to anyone engaged in serious bible study
We are actively seeking a physical location from which we can operate a working library and study center.

BATL operates under the governance of a board of directors, all of whom subscribe to a doctrinal statement.

In addition to working toward a "brick-and-mortar" library, we sponsor opportunities to learn from some of the leading bible scholars of our day. The Lamplighters Lectures, presented four times a year, bring to the Bay Area noted speakers whose lectures "illuminate the biblical text."

BATL is a non-profit organization seeking to establish a regional theological library and center for biblical study. P.O. Box 4084 Mountain View, CA 94040 888-531-4922 info@batl.org
